Michaelann Keckler RDH, PHDHP
Michaelann earned her Dental Hygiene degree in 2007 at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville, NC. She obtained licensure as a Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner in 2011 and completed additional training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in 2022. Throughout her career as a dental hygienist, Michaelann has learned how to identify orofacial myofunctional disorders and symptoms from myofunctional disorders in her patients. After starting to identify orofacial myofunctional disorders in her own daughter, she decided to become the specialist who not only helped her but could help other children and adults with symptoms from myofunctional disorders as well. "My new passion is being able to help children and adults eat, sleep and breathe properly. Proper sleep and proper breathing is essential to the growth and development of children”.
